 Are we sure this is an acceleration issue with the ELAN driver, or a
 different default dpi resolution issue?

 Without the ELAN driver in-kernel, this pad (at least with my fingers)
 behaves a lot like a Synaptics pad with tap-to-click enabled & no crazy
 acceleration issues.
