 This may have happened on a system running the Perl and Python test
 scripts for #11994 with a custom-compiled kernel that had cjb's proposed
 patches for said ticket in it.

 The exact reason this XO lost access to its wifi card has been lost to log
 rotation.

 Said kernel is also logging messages like:
