 This failed twice in a 48 hour test using runin 0.20.4 pre-release
 ([http://dev.laptop.org/git/users/quozl/runin/commit/?id=f41116f154a9d51992e76b61af27fc9632fdc5fc
 git]), but /etc/rwtab had not been modified.

 runin 0.20.4 released.

 If that doesn't work, I should be able to reduce the impact of this
 problem in XO-1.75 manufacturing by using the watchdog; configuring it for
 30 seconds just prior to calling reboot.  That won't fix the user
 experience, nor will it fix XO-1.5 manufacturing.
