 I came into the office this morning after a US holiday and saw this
 happened on a few more machines.  These were running 12.1.0 os16 in DEVL
 mode with the ffa7d7b kernel (soiled was set).

 So far this has been seen on SKU 201, 202, and 204.

 No reproduction has happened yet with ulimit -c unlimited set and
 confirmed.  (This presumes runin-gtk keeps its working directory somewhere
 it can dump core.)
