Comment:

 I am pretty sure it is fixed by moving mmp-camera out to a module. Corbet
 had recommended exactly this, for exactly this reason.

 Somehow we accidentally changed the defconfig and ended w mmp-camera
 built-in.

 OS26 has the goods.
