 The limitations of Wine on ARM are understood. Maybe it does not pay to be
 subtle online -- in the original description, the threshold we have to
 meet is: "we should be able to demo the sample app (Notepad.exe?) compiled
 for ARM".

 Wine includes a sample app with source, IIRC a notepad clone written
 against Win32. If you can compile / link / run it, you're in business.

 It is worth noting that Win8 on ARM is currently expected to have the
 exact same limitation.
