 Installing Pulseaudio on 11.3.1 os28 breaks the base XO audio environment,
 which presumes direct ALSA contact with the hardware.

  * The default ALSA output becomes pulseaudio, and requires the pulseaudio
 daemon to run or another default path setup to avoid programs getting
 confused. Still, activities like Record still cannot work properly even
 with the daemon active.

  * olpc-kbdshim's volume controls do not adjust Pulseaudio's one-and-only
 "Master" volume output controls, and will need tweaking.

  * Pulseaudio also flashes the microphone recording LED while
 initializing.

 Related to #11499 and #11588 (since Wine brings in pulseaudio). Testing
 done on XO-1.75 with 11.3.1 os28.
