The following 2 commands cause bad gst-launch behavior for me.

This one will eventually cause a segfault.

 gst-launch audiotestsrc freq=170 ! alsasink v4l2src ! ffmpegcolorspace !
 videoscale ! xvimagesink

This one does not seem to segfault but will often result in the audio
corruption where it changes from a smooth 179Hz tone to a bunch of
screeching. Sometimes it will fix itself and if you grab the video window
and move it around it also seems to fix.

 gst-launch audiotestsrc freq=170 ! alsasink videotestsrc ! xvimagesink

In both cases the audio crackles, pops and stutters while the commands are
 running.
