 With build 19 on the XO one I see the cursor going away often steps are:

 - hover over an icon in the activity ring

 ---> the grey feedback gets visible, the Palette pops up, but the cursor
 is gone

 - in the activity list view move the cursor over the rows

 ---> the cursor is not displayed anymore at certain positions (I presume
 the same will happen in the Journal)
