 It's not just SD access - that part is easy enough, modulo the continuing
 evolution of SD variants.  There is also the need for file system support
 - which could be made smallish by restricting to the root directory of a
 FAT filesystem.  But then there is the big issue: what about security?  It
 seems like a can of worms to me.
