Comment:

 From the log, the errors are:

 sound_Start: snd_pcm_hw_params: Invalid argument
 snd_pcm_prepare: Device or resource busy
 snd_pcm_start(2): File descriptor in bad state
 }}}

 This repeats a lot, easy to reproduce. Probably not the cause of the hang.

 Then the log has this:

 snd_pcm_writei returned -11
 snd_pcm_writei returned -11
 }}}

 repeated a lot. -11 is -EAGAIN.

 I haven't reproduced this message, but I haven't reproduced the hang
 either - I probably haven't left it long enough. I guess the hang and this
 error are related.
