Comment:

 we believe this was caused by a driver error.  the Marvell usb driver
 hard-codes all of the PMUA clock selections, and was misconfigured to
 select the (nonexistent) VCXO rather than the populated crystal.  it's
 likely this did, or would have, affected HDMI as well.

 fix should be in os18, kernel d55a36b6.
