 Thanks. There are 4 threads there. One interesting next step would be to
 confirm how many threads there are before the updater runs (and which ones
 they are). I'm wondering if we're creating a thread that is never
 destroyed, that continues to consume resources for some reason, even after
 the updater is closed.
