 ''lid?'' returns true when it should return false, when the lid is open,
 after a Linux reboot.

 The cause might be one of:
  * processor reset does not reset the GPIO directions or pullups over a
 Linux reboot, and Open Firmware does not either,
  * the embedded controller holds PWR_BUT_in high after Linux reboot only.

 Options include
  * fixing the problem,
  * removing lid close shutdown from Open Firmware.
