 Sigh.

 The MMP3 has the write protect pin logic sense wrong:

 ARMADA 610 Datasheet (MMP2): MMCx_WP  - High indicates the card is write
 protected.

 PXA2128 Datasheet (MMP3) :  MMC[3,1]_WRITE_PROTECT  - Low indicates the
 card is write protected:

 Simplified SD Host Controller Spec: Write protected (SDWP#=0)
