Comment(by dsd):

 As a potential solution for 12.1.0 I have taken up one of Jon's ideas of
 moving the command queue processing into the kernel where it can be made
 uninterruptible.

  * chrome patch: http://dev.laptop.org/~dsd/20120814/cmdqueue.patch
  * Kernel patch: http://dev.laptop.org/~dsd/20120814/0001-viafb-add-
 command-queueing-mechanism-in-the-kernel-1.patch

  * kernel package for testing:
 http://dev.laptop.org/~dsd/20120814/kernel-3.3.8_xo1.5-20120814.1201.olpc.c900867.i586.rpm
  * chrome package for testing:
 http://dev.laptop.org/~dsd/20120814/xorg-x11-drv-
 chrome-5.74.33-10.fc17.dsd1.i686.rpm

 Just started the test with the testchrome.py test case above.
