 reproduced with quick wakeup/suspend cycle -- in my case, using a keypress
 during power-button sleep (which shouldn't be waking at all -- that's a
 bug) but it's probably also possible using AC plug/unplug or unplug during
 power button sleep.

 machine is 1.5 running unmodified os8,
