 this either needs kernel work (to fully support wakeup control over the
 serio devices) or powerd work (to adjust the sysfs nodes that it's
 manipulating.  not sure which yet.

 symptom is that device wakes up from keyboard when it shouldn't -- when
 it's in lid-sleep or powerbutton-sleep.
