Comment:

On 12.1.0, I can't see any redundant X server logging. Well, there are a
handful of messages logged both to Xorg.0.log and olpc-dm-X.error.log, but
only a few that are logged at X startup.

logrotate is installed but disabled (same as 11.2.x), but the
/var/log/messages file size can be easily capped by rsyslog and a helper
 script:

 As of olpc-utils 550628b85fc4dd0f0eb41670ca2821d20970f599 and olpc-os-
 builder 28413456e831cacfa285154aa95f3b91746e001c, once /var/log/messages
hits 1MB it will be renamed to /var/log/messages.1 and /var/log/messages
will be re-started as blank. This means the total "messages" content that
will be stored at any time is 2mb.
