 I've noticed when measuring input power of the laptop that the battery is
 frequently being charged (with up to 12W) yet the battery indicator light
 is indicating a full battery (green).

 Richard mentioned that this is only a problem for around ten minutes after
 an EC reset.  I noticed this on a laptop which was having it's EC reset
 frequently.
