 Thanks, yes, I'm aware build 0.84 shipped with buggy espeak, but not sure
 what I can do without cloning a bunch of code from Speak and trying to
 work that code in to Clock. I did take a look, but it was not very clean
 and would be a large code addition, Speak is basically using a hack to
 avoid the espeak to audio out bug by writing the generated sample wav
 files to /tmp and then playing them back out to the audio manually. Happy
 to land a patch, but don't have the time to implement & debug it all
 myself just now.
