#11286: powerd should not suspend on open external serial devices
------------------------------------+---------------------------------------
Reporter: greenfeld | Owner: pgf
Type: enhancement | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone: Not Triaged
Component: power manager (powerd) | Version: Development build as of this date

------------------------------------+---------------------------------------
1. Attach a serial adapter (USB side) to an XO-1.5.
2. Start Minicom as root and attach it to ttyUSB0.
3. Let the XO go to into idle sleep after ~15 seconds; the serial adapter
will detach from the USB port.
4. Press a key to wake up the XO-1.5. Minicom will show an error that it
cannot open ttyUSB0, and dmesg will show the serial adapter now is
allocated to ttyUSB1.
5. Repeat 3 & 4 and the serial adapter will go back to ttyUSB0, and
somehow Minicom (at least) figures out how to open it again. Repeat again
and it goes back to ttyUSB1...
Workaround: Tell the XO-1.5 not to go sleep while using Minicom.
Seen in 11.3.0 os7.
