 At this time, I believe every activity graphically starts on an XO-1.75
 with 11.3.0 os5.

 However many do not get very far, usually due to audio/gstreamer
 requirements.  The first time they try to record, playback audio, or
 get/set at a mixer control, several activities tend to hang.

 Do we still wish to keep this ticket open, or close it in favor of the
 audio tickets?
