 Does not repro, but here are the steps in in the session that crashed

  * Warm reboot
  * Open Terminal
  * aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/*
  * Return to home view
  * Open Record
  * Crash happened early in the "pulsing icon" phase of opening Record
