 On os42, olpc.fth is still that provided by olpc-os-builder, and if the
 bootfw q4b09 package is reinstalled, the firmware update does occur
 correctly, but the kernel panics because it has no root:

 If ''root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rootwait'' is added back to olpc.fth, Linux boots
 fine.
