 The reason I suggested undervoltage was in case your site experienced
 undervoltage supply on the nights that the adapter was tripped.  So that
 would be 230V minus ten percent for less than a minute, or 230V minus six
 percent steady state.

 Alternatively, if John directs, I could send you another adapter and get
 you to send that adapter back for failure analysis.

 Looking back through the ticket, can you verify that the adapter really
 does stop providing power?  i.e. don't only rely on the battery LED of the
 laptop to diagnose this.
