 Thanks for testing. There is also https://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/2897
 and #11031

 jabber.sugarlabs.org is running an experimental codebase and is known
 buggy. We can't support this. Please reopen this ticket if you can
 reproduce it without a jabber server configured, or while using an OLPC
 school server as the jabber server.
