Comment:

 fixed in arm-3.0-wip e701ec13267c66: the initramfs in its current form
 depends on CONFIG_FAT_DEFAULT_IOCHARSET pointing at a charset that it is
 built into the kernel. switched this to ascii to match xo-1/xo-1.5

 Also checked that this does not affect Sugar/GNOME which chooses its own
 charset.
