 I still see this issue in os8. The option 'HWcursors' is set to 'false',
 the rpm http://dev.laptop.org/~jnettlet/public_rpms/xorg-x11-drv-
 dove-0.1.0-5.olpc.armv5tel.rpm looks correct. Setting the option
 HWcursors' to 'true' makes it work.
