 Yum fails with an error, e.g.

 # yum search gcc
 Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository:
 fedora. Please verify its path and try again
 }}}
 Somehow the automatic mirror selection is broken.

 Workaround: comment out mirror list setting in
 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora*.repo and replace base url setting with a mirror
 that actually carries the arm architecture. E.g.

 baseurl=http://ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/pub/fedora-
 secondary/releases/$releasever/Everything/$basearch/os/

 fedora-updates.repo:
 baseurl=http://ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/pub/fedora-

 fedora-updates-testing.repo:
 baseurl=http://ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/pub/fedora-
 secondary/updates/testing/$releasever/$basearch/
