 Seen on os11 and os882 on XO-1.75 B1 in both sugar and gnome. I don't have
 any deterministic steps to reproduce. Using terminal in sugar would
 eventually (or sometimes quite quickly) provoke the error, killing
 terminal in the process. In gnome the animated copy file dialog would also
 generally provoke the problem after a minute or two and usually kill
 everything including the window manager and sometimes X.

 This basically made terminal in sugar unusable (I used the ctrl-alt-f2
 console) and gnome was rather unstable.

 This appears to be the same problem as #11433 but in os882 there is no
 suspend and I did not observe a correlation with suspend in os11.

 Attached is a messages log file from os882 and from os11 from bonnie, an
 XO-1.75 B1 prototype.
