 i fixed an ordering problem with EC driver init on Nov. 1 in commit
 20358538.  since i don't find the commit id of the kernel you've mentioned
 on either arm-3.0-wip or pm4-wmb, i can't tell whether you had this commit
 or not.  you probably did, so perhaps my change was insufficient.
