 Although the lack of jumps in kernel timestamps make it hard to tell, we
 appear suspending XO-1.75 systems just prior to enabling the DCON.  The
 screen goes blank during suspend instead of showing the last visible
 image.

 The last dmesg line seen prior to suspending is "Suspending console(s)
 (use no_console_suspend to debug)".  The next line, seen after resuming,
 is the DCON being frozen.

 Manually freezing and unfreezing the DCON via sysfs appears to work
 properly.

 Tested on 11.3.1 os10 with
 kernel-3.0.0_xo1.75-20111114.1639.olpc.184b135.armv7l & xorg-x11-drv-
 dove-0.1.0-7.olpc.armv5tel RPMs added.
