 Yes, installing rpms will typically break fscheck.  I temporarily add an
 {{{exit}}} at the top of /runin/runin-fscheck to prevent this.  But this
 changes the footprint of the whole test, so I only do it if there's no
 simple alternative.

 The next most likely thing to fail is the battery tests, because with
 suspend and resume active the battery capacity does not fall as fast as it
 used to.  I've asked Richard to characterise this, and he says we need to
 wait for stable suspend and resume first, and I agree.
