When arecord is used to record audio in WAV format on an XO-1.75 and aplay
is used to play the same file back, the resulting audio file may alternate
between playing on the left or right channel, or alternate between playing
 and not playing at all.

WAV header corruption of some sort is suspected to be occurring. When the
WAV file is recorded on a system other than XO-1.75 then playback occurs
 properly.
