 Not sure if it helps, but we do have some odd reports of AVC touchpads
 with the driver in an odd state, where it doesn't pick up the "disable
 tap-to-click" command.

 See #11265 and #11186 . I see Paul's commented on them.

 Seems like init of this driver is screwy.
