 After entering the control panel and clicking "about me", no further
 action is possible. the "about me" information is not shown. The
 cancel/accept buttons can be clicked but do not work. The frame can be
 brought up but clicking the icons does nothing. I see no way to get out of
 the control panel.

 This is after a fresh install of os20 on an XO-1 (B4-14), and replacing
 the .sugar directory with a backup from the previous installation (8.2.1,
 os800). My restore procedure was init 1; untar .sugar; init 5. Journal
 content appeared to work fine, and locale was reset to German too.

 Not sure if related: After restarting Sugar, F-keys and frame key are non-
 functional. Typing text works fine, operating frame by mouse works fine.
