Comment:

 I was thinking that we may want to roll this into the 11.2.xx releases we
 are doing.  We have them tagged as dev/preview so it will give us a chance
 to test without possibly missing a "gotcha" in a full release.

 I am thinking we can do this in a dispatcher.d script like the one
 attached.  If necessary we could filter on the device name and only change
 it for ethx/wlanx devices
