Comment:

 My "B-Test" machine (SHC93701133) stopped working with these symptoms. Was
 working just fine the day before.  IIRC then it froze on boot (first dot)
 so I had to power cycle (long press on power button). Then it would turn
 on the backlight but not display anything. Now only the Power LED comes
 on, nothing else. Removed power for half an hour but no change.
