Comment:

 Tested in 11.2.0 os18.

 The patch {or a close cousin of it seen in the code on the laptop} seems
 to work if the laptop is set to USA/English.  But if set to Spanish, the
 user's name for file transfer purposes becomes "dbus"-related again for
 both the sender and receiver.

 Needs some more diagnosing to see why changing the language seems to
 change if we see the user's username or not.
