 Never expected that to work ... that you'd want to waste power by starting
 Stopwatch, stopping the activity with a timer running, and expecting the
 laptop not to suspend.  Are you serious ... is this a new requirement?  It
 seems unwise, since a learner might disable idle suspend without knowing
 how they did it.  It does actually write the flag file, you must not have
 looked, but powerd ignores a flag file for a process that no longer
 exists.  The process must remain for powerd to accept the request.
