We have a suspect system (SHC01900A23) as well as reports of possibly
another where the built-in XO 1.5 keyboard works in Open Firmware but not
 in Linux.

On this system, the first keystroke will get through, but most likely few
if any after that. I cannot figure out the logic which dictates when they
 get through or not.

If the laptop decides to switch to an idle mode, the built-in keyboard
likely will not wake it up. The mousepad seems dead as well.

Logs are attached (but include adding an external USB keyboard).

I tried using 11.2.0 os14 as well as 10.1.3; no difference noted.
