 See also #9851 (XO-1.5 audio input has a DC offset at high gain) closed
 wontfix, and [http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/2510 SL2510] (Level very
 low on Measure-32 on XO-1.5, good on XO-1.0) open, and
 [http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/2035 SL2510] (inconsistent results with
 Measure v30 on sensor input in XO 1 and XO 1.5) open.

 Significant precision is not required, since the machine to machine
 variability is not controlled.  So you can go get a 1.5V battery, a
 resistor, and a voltmeter, and you have all the tools you need.

 It would be better to also add calibration support to Measure, so that a
 teacher or learner can calibrate it based on observations.  This will then
 compensate for external sensor variability, which a purely XO based
 calibration would not.
