 i believe that EC code (0xdb 66) is identical on both platforms.

 i was wondering more because i think the two platform kernels reboot
 differently, so the work/patch may be different.  as i recall, XO-1.5 uses
 "reboot=acpi", which goes through the FADT, where (if i'm reading right)
 we end up with a 0xd7 CMD66 code.  XO-1 (again, if i'm reading right)
 reboots via the same wrmsrl(MSR_DIVIL_SOFT_RESET, 1ULL) mechanism used by
 OFW.
