#10771: Paint undo functionality with clippings seems to often cause duplication

Reporter: greenfeld | Owner: godiard
Type: defect | Status: new

Component: paint/drawing-activity (oficina) | Version: Development build as of this date

----------------------------------------------+-----------------------------
1. Start a new, clean instance of Paint.
2. Draw something that's fairly decent in size with the pencil, brush,
etc. {doesn't have to be large, but you have to know what it looks like}
3. Use the Select Area control on the Tools panel on part of this area to
select part of the painting.
4. Move the mouse over the area to get the moving icon, hold the mouse
button down and drag to move the section. Release the mouse Note it
leaves whitespace behind.
5. Panic! Go to the Edit toolbar and click Undo. Nothing visibly
happens!
6. Move the mouse over the clipping and click-drag it again. Suddenly
the screen updates and the area where the clipping was is restored. But
you still have a clipping of that data onscreen as well. If there is an
easy way to get rid of it and save the data underneath it, I have not
personally spotted it yet.
