 So the issue is the following: there is a limit for the service name to be
 maximum 64 characters. When testing I did exceed it by choosing a nick
 name that had 13 characters 'blue---erikos'. The service name does then
 get created by [http://git.collabora.co.uk/?p=freedesktop.org-
 mirror/telepathy/telepathy-salut.git;a=blob;f=src/salut-avahi-olpc-
 activity.c;h=2a3681aca7568d1c8bf4ce97b161f79c11ef6165;hb=HEAD#l186
 constructing the "room_name" + "icon name" (published_name) + "host
 name"].
