Comment:

 Works in 11.2.0 os870 (although the rotate buttons default to everything
 now if there is no selection).  Attempting to resume a Journal entry saved
 with a selection made (or the stamp tool active) results in the selected
 area disappearing and the Stamp tool no longer being active.
