 > I don't understand why you want read a PDF file in the Browse. We have a
more powerful Read activity to read PDF files. The embedded viewer is only
to read a PDF when you are browsinf in internet or when you are using a
collection with PDFs inside. I am strongly opposed to add application/pdf
to the activity.info file in Browse.
I was merely going by the 'Summary' of this ticket, which was: "Browse
needs PDF reader ...". Back when I started to use an OLPC, the normal way
for Activities to access data was by selecting the desired data object in
__Journal__, then "resuming" (i.e., launching) the handling of that data
object (using the appropriate Activity). If these days the ability of
Browse to access PDF files the "OLPC way" is deprecated - then leave
Browse's 'activity.info' file as it was.
