Current linux kernel driver (os10 to os12) works correctly with Q3A13f --
but not with Q3A13 nor with Q3A14 or newer.

The Q3A13 to Q3A14 series made a lot of progress on the audio front, so
changes in the register state are to be expected during that series.

Now that things have settled, we probably need to establish a sane state
in which OFW leaves the audio components, and Linux expects, document and
 (if needed) implement it.

Alternatively, Linux could just reset all registers to a known state --
hopefully this doesn't cause output or delays.
