 Chia-Hsiu tested by adding nousb to kernel command line.  No change, still
 panic on boot with ''No filesystem could mount root, tried: ext3 ext2 ext4
 cramfs vfat msdos''.  This excludes the USB subsystem of the kernel as a
 contributing cause.
